Experience
I do have prior tutoring experience. While in high school i was part of peer tutoring and peer mentoring program.In this program I mentored and tutored lower classman. I also was part of the Advanced Via Indivisual Determination program also known as the AVID program. In this program I was part of various tutorial/tutor sessions.Also during the summer I will be completing a peer education course. I have taken two AP english courses, one honors english and honors US history 2 course, as well as taking an extra year of math ( college algebra). I scored a 17 on my ACT, and would really like to become a tutor. I want to become a tutor because I feel that by doing this I will be helping out my community as well as continuing my education. Although i have already completed high school, theres always room to learn new things that I either was not capable of learning in high school or did not take the time to learn in high school.It will also be a learning experience for me as well. I have done multiple community service hours as well as taking part in many leadership activities in and outside of high school.

I love singing,music, and reading books. I like to travel and see new things. During college I plan to do a study abroad and study in africa. For fun I like going to the movies, bowling, and shopping.
